Executive Coaching

For most leaders, the toughest challenges aren’t found in dashboards, strategies, or boardrooms — they live in the quiet, unseen moments. The late-night decisions. The lingering doubts. The responsibility of caring for others while trying to remain intact yourself. That’s why I built my coaching practice.

A Career Grounded in Real-World Leadership

With three decades in healthcare leadership — including my years as Chief Academic Officer and as a mentor to hundreds of physicians — I’ve learned that leadership is both a privilege and a profound weight. Even the most capable leaders need a place where they can speak freely, reset, examine their patterns, and grow without judgment.

Executive Coaching Approach

My coaching approach is grounded in empathy, strategic insight, and the conviction that impactful leadership starts with deep self-awareness. Drawing from my experience as a licensed clinical social worker, trauma specialist, and certified executive coach, I help leaders:

  • Steer confidently through transitions and new roles
  • Strengthen emotional intelligence and relational skills
  • Restore energy and resilience
  • Lead with clarity, purpose, and presence
  • Regain stability after demanding or painful seasons

Coaching That Supports, Not Pushes

This isn’t “push harder” coaching. It’s human-centered support for high performers who want to lead with honesty, compassion, and sustainability. If you’re ready to reclaim your energy, refine your influence, and reconnect with the leader you’re becoming, I would be honored to walk with you.

Coaching for Leaders Who Carry Much and Care Deeply

As a certified executive coach and member of the John Maxwell Leadership Institute, I partner with leaders to:

  • Navigate new or expanding leadership responsibilities
  • Communicate with confidence, clarity, and impact
  • Strengthen presence, resilience, and emotional intelligence
  • Prevent burnout and rebuild sustainable energy
  • Lead with authenticity, courage, and purpose

Consulting: Stand Strong Strategies

For more than thirty years, I have worked at the crossroads of leadership, humanity, and healthcare. I've guided teams through hurricanes, pandemics, system breakdowns, workforce crises, and the quiet heartbreaks that never make the news. And along the way, I learned one truth: leaders can only shoulder a system for so long before the system begins to weigh them down.

The Origin of Still Standing

Still Standing emerged from that realization, a recognition of what leaders endure, what they carry, and what they need to remain whole while serving others.

A Career Spent Supporting Those Who Carry the Most

As a former Chief Academic Officer and Designated Institutional Officer at Our Lady of the Lake, a licensed clinical social worker, and a certified executive coach, I’ve spent my career walking beside those with profound responsibility — physicians, executives, educators, and leaders who continue showing up even when they’re tired, anxious, or unseen.

Why I Founded Stand Strong Strategies™

I created Stand Strong Strategies because our healthcare workforce is stretched beyond its limits, and traditional leadership training ignores the deeper wounds: moral distress, emotional labor, and the hidden weight leaders take home with them. My work blends data, narrative, and strategy to help organizations not just respond to burnout, but eliminate its roots.

My Mission Across Every Role

Whether I'm speaking to audiences, coaching executives, or consulting with crisis-tested health systems, my mission remains constant:

To help leaders stay human while leading others — and to build systems worthy of the people who hold them together.

What I Believe

I believe in leadership that listens.
In systems that heal.
In organizations that stand strong because their people do.

A Partnership for Culture Change

If you’re ready to cultivate a workplace where well-being and excellence thrive together, I would be honored to partner with you.
